Code Word Romance is out now!

Hi friends,

Are you ready for a slightly chaotic pub day post, which I’m going to try and squeeze into my toddler’s dwindling nap time? Well, good!

Code Word Romance hits shelves in the US today. It’s an Amazon Best Romance of the Month (!!!), and has received starred reviews from Publisher’s Weekly and BookPage. Thank you so, so much to everyone who has pre-ordered, read, reviewed, and/or shared. And special thanks to everyone who’s noted that Code Word Romance is basically a grown-up version of The Lizzie McGuire Movie with spies; you are my people!!

Here are three things I’d love you to know right now.

1. Yesterday, I published the most personal thing I’ve ever written. It’s called “The Romance Novel That Helped Me Escape Postpartum Depression,” and you can read it for free on Scary Mommy here.

2. I have several events coming up for Code Word Romance, including an Instagram live with author Kayla Olson this Saturday.

3. And finally, a random thing from my life. In February, I took the dive into a vegan lifestyle, and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for my body (and for my tastebuds!).
